Aims and benefits:

This course is designed to give the candidate a thorough grounding of the Law
and Standards relating to lifting equipment. The course will demonstrate the
statutory requirements for the inspection, rejection and the reporting of lifting
equipment in service. The course will also provide practical advice to enable
those carrying out inspections to do so
confidently and correctly.

  • This course is carried out in accordance with the code of practice for the safe use

  • Carry out ‘in service’ inspection [faults, wear and common malpractice]
  • Demonstrate knowledge for the examination, storage, marking and handling of
